Context
Aligning a global CPG giant around AI
With new leadership atop the IT organization, one of the largest manufacturers of consumer packaged goods
saw the need to draw together the disparate groups within the organization who were already pursuing
artificial intelligence–driven products.
The Hypergiant Strategy group joined Nestlé at their global headquarters in Vevey, Switzerland for several
days of workshops, lectures, and intense collaboration. We engaged with leaders across the organization in
every major world market to understand current efforts and where a unified AI program could best serve
Nestlé’s broader ambitions.
Approach
Workshopping the vision, then operationalizing it
Over six weeks, Hypergiant Strategy produced a comprehensive AI strategy for the IT group that established
a game plan for rolling out artificial intelligence in a way that is inspiring, valuable, and inclusive.
The output included extensive educational material to raise AI literacy, detailed tactical plans, and
frameworks for global Centers of Excellence alongside a unified approach to governance.
At the conclusion of that phase, I remained involved with Nestlé to produce a serialized version of the
strategy paper for internal distribution and a streamlined white paper for executive participants in the
global summit. I also collaborated with the Innovation group in defining global guidance around AI ethics,
helping shape how future‑forward products would be evaluated and brought to market.
Impact
Strategic foundations for Nestlé’s AI evolution
Specific quantitative impact metrics from this early strategy phase are not publicly disclosed, but the
work contributed to Nestlé’s broader push toward enterprise‑wide, ethical AI adoption and helped lay the
groundwork for later initiatives in AI governance, ethics, and scaled data‑to‑AI programs.
